How to get to & from Major European AirportS


Vienna: From Vienna Schwechat, connections to Wien-Nord, Wien-Mitte (Eurail Passes are valid on S-Bahn, not on CAT).


Brussels: From Brussels Nationaal, connections to Brussels North, Central, South and to many other destinations.


Czech Republic

Prague: Connections to Prague Ruzyne.  (Airport Express Bus, City Bus 100)


Copenhagen: From Copenhagen Kastrup, connections to København H, Malmö (Sweden) and to many other destinations.



Paris: RER Paris Free transportation on the RER train (line B) from Paris Charles De Gaulle airport to Paris Nord railway station (in this direction only).  In order to obtain access, go to the RER station at CDG Terminal 1 or 2.  At the ticket window show your Eurail pass and ask for a 'contremarque'.  You will need the 'contremarque' to enter the platform, and to exit the RER station at Paris Nord.



Berlin: From Berlin Schönefeld, connections to Berlin Ostbahnof / Hauptbahnhof / Zool / Garten and many other destinations.  Train (S-Bahn) every 10 minutes and Regionalexpress/Regionalbahn lines RE7 and RB14 (every 30 minutes) Berlin city and the regional area.


Düsseldorf: Connections to Düsseldorf Hbf (Train S-Bahn) and to many other destinations.


Frankfurt: Frankfurt Rhein/Main is the main airport.  From the airport there are connections to Frankfurt am Main Hbf and many other destinations.  Train S-Bahn/RE/RB, every 10 to 15 minutes.



Athens: From airport Athens E.Venizelos, connections to Athens Railway Station and to Kiato New Railway Station.



Budapest: From Budapest Ferihegy 1, connections to Budapest Nyugati and other destinations.



Rome: From Roma Fiumicino, connections to Roma Tiburtina/Ostiense (all passes are accepted) and Roma Termini (only 1st class passes are valid).


Milan: As of 13th December 2010, from Milan Malpensa Airport, the Malpensa Express line has connections to Milano Centrale Station, Milano Pora Garibaldi Station and many other destinations.  Trains run every 30 minutes.

Pisa: From Pisa Galileo Galilei, connections Pisa Centrale, Firenze SMN and many other destinations.


The Netherlands

Amsterdam: From Schipol, direct trains to Amsterdam Central Station and to many other destinations.



Oslo: From Oslo Gardermoen, connections to Oslo Sentral.  Eurail Passes are only accepted on Regional trains and not on the airport express train/Flytoget.



Barcelona: From Barcelona El Prat, connections to Barcelona Sants.



Stockholm: From Stockholm Arlanda, connections to Stockholm Central (trains every 15 minutes) and many other destinations.



Geneva: From Genève Cointrin, connections to Genève (trains every 15 minutes)


Zurich: Connections to Zürich Hb (trains run every 15 minutes
