Corridor Pass Conditions
Pass Conditions
- This will be an e-voucher and is not valid for travel. You must
exchange this voucher for a rail pass at an ViaRail station.
- Tickets must be purchase prior to 5 days before the first
travel date.
- Travel must begin within one year of the date the pass is
issued.
- Valid within the Québec City - Windsor corridor (southern
Ontario and Quebec)
- You must nominate a start date and pre book the first
journey.
- Supersaver - Must be purchased through
International Rail no later than 5 days prior to your first date of
travel. Limited passholder allocation for seats apply for this
pass.
- Discounted - Can be purchased through
International Rail no later than 5 days prior to your first date of
travel. While still limited, there are more seats allocated to this
pass over the Supersaver.
- Corridor passes can be purchased and used by
residents of Canada.
- You cannot board a train without a reservation.
- Your Corridor pass is valid for economy class seats only.
- Upgrades are not permitted. (including for Sleepers)
- Passholder accommodation is limited.
- For the purposes of this pass, Toronto includes Guildwood
station; Montreal includes Dorval and St.Lambert stations; Quebec
City includes Ste-Foy and Charny stations
Restrictions
Cannot be used more than once for a round trip between the same
2 cities.
Pass Refunds
- Passes must be presented for refund unused and with all tickets
issued against the card have been surrendered.
- Unused tickets must be returned marked "cancelled" by a VIA
rail official
- Once a Corridorpasses has been used it is totally
non-refundable.
- A minimum cancellation fee of 25% for pass applies for approved
refunds.
- Once e-vouchers are exchanged lost or stolen passes are
not refundable and cannot be replaced.
